If you're like us, you're fed up with
and political campaigns waged through 30-second TV spots.
Now you can do something about it!
Want to help the California Voter Foundation?
Weâll get straight to the point:
Would you believe the entire CVF staff consists of two full-time employees? Itâs
true! CVF works on an operating budget of less than $200,000 a year. We succeed in
delivering all of this great information because we make a point of collaborating
with other organizations to maximize our resources. We also contract with consultants
for some of our services, like technological support, accounting, and public relations.
But we need to hire more staff to take full advantage of the enormous potential
the Internet offers to revolutionize the way politics is practiced in this state
and nation. We are planning to hire a full-time technologist and fundraiser/membership
director in the Summer of 1998, but FIRST we need to raise the funds needed to staff
these positions and create two new additional workstations.
Once we have funded and filled these two positions, CVF will launch our membership
and affiliates program, which is designed to provide an ongoing source of revenue
for CVF that will ensure we can continue to provide the public with Internet access
to election and government information for many years to come.
You can help make this dream come true! Your tax-deductible contribution will
help secure CVFâs long-term sustainability. CVF also accepts in-kind contributions.
Please contribute whatever you can - $50, $100, $250, $500 - to CVF. If your employer
has a charitable giving program, you can also help CVF by encouraging your employer
to make a contribution.
Remember, all contributions to CVF are
